I am excited to announce my second class in the preparation for the Valentines day.
We will continue to create simple yet healthy and gourmet-looking meals from everyday ingredients like eggplant, cauliflower, garbanzo beans etc. You will not need to have any cooking experience at all. I will show you how easy it is to create elegant meals from ordinary produce. The idea is to spent minimal time in the kitchen for you and still to whip up these meals quickly.
One meal will be on molecular gastronomy, as we will make pickled onion caviar! You will be amazed at how simple it is. By learning this technique, you can literally transform any flavorful liquid into a fancy caviar-looking addition to your meals, both sweet and savory.
We will start with some virgin mocktails - grapefruit, ginger, turmeric.
Then we will make two easy appetizers - carrot apple tartare served with almond-rosemary crackers.
For the salad, we will have fresh farm with avocado, fennel, orange and mustard orange dressing.
For the mains, we will make miso-glazed roasted eggplant served with buckwheat soba noodles, mango, and edamame.
A second main course will feature roasted garbanzo beans with turmeric roasted cauliflower served on a minted yogurt with pickled onion pearls.
For desserts, we are also making two desserts. One is for chocolate lovers - snickers bites chocolate covered dates and coconut panna cotta with cherry compote.
