Eat Plants Elevate wasn’t originally created as a business—it began as a natural extension of my own healing journey through plant-based nutrition. What started as a personal transformation evolved into a passion for helping others reclaim their health through food. Over time, it blossomed into a service for individuals and families seeking support in the kitchen and inspiration on their wellness path.

Eat Plants Elevate’s mission is simple: to elevate your health with plants. Through thoughtfully prepared, nourishing meals, we aim to make healthy eating easier, more joyful, and deeply supportive of your well-being.
II am a self-taught cook, always expanding my skills in plant-based cuisine. My culinary journey has been shaped by years of hands-on experience and an ever-growing passion for health-focused cooking. In addition to running my own business, I’ve had the privilege of working as a line cook at a raw vegan café in Burlingame, California, where I honed my craft further. I also trained as a raw vegan chef at the Viva La Raw retreat in Costa Rica.
I’m a published co-author of Healing Foods by Joey Avniel. My raw vegan pizza was featured on the book cover, and I contributed a chapter, sharing my healing journey and some of my favorite plant-based recipes.
Through this ongoing journey of learning and teaching, I’ve transformed my life and my health—and now, I’m dedicated to helping others do the same through nourishing, healing plant-based meals.
I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, as well as a Certified Holistic Health Coach specializing in plant-based nutrition by the HMI Wellness.
My Journey to Health and Healing with Plant-Based Nutrition
By my mid-20s, my health was in a constant state of crisis. Chronic sinus infections, ongoing antibiotic use, inflammation, migraines, digestive issues, fatigue, and even early-onset arthritis had taken their toll. I was trapped in a cycle of sickness and medication with no way out.
How Yoga Led Me to Veganism
In 2007, while living in New York City, I began my yoga practice as a remedy for chronic back pain. Almost immediately, I found myself drawn to the practice, attending classes 3 to 5 times a week. As I practiced, my body began craving lighter, healthier foods, but the real turning point came through my teacher’s consistent message: Ahimsa, the principle of non-violence and compassion, was key to true yoga.
He spoke about how consuming animal flesh disrupted the mind and body, blocking the peace and stillness required for meditation. He emphasized that compassion extends to all living beings, and by adopting a vegan lifestyle, we could not only reduce suffering but also enhance our own health, strength, and clarity. Inspired by these teachings, I transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle in 2010.
Healing Through Plants
Alongside yoga, I incorporated regular juice cleanses and detoxes into my routine. Within a year, I was no longer dependent on antibiotics or medications, and my chronic ailments began to disappear. Since then, I’ve remained illness-free, medicine-free, and thrive solely on plant-based nutrition.
Deepening My Knowledge
My passion for plant-based living led me to study holistic health coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and plant-based nutrition at HMI Wellness. I also trained as a raw vegan chef at the Viva La Raw retreat in Costa Rica and worked as a prep cook at a raw vegan café in California. Along the way, I’ve continued to expand my culinary skills and share my knowledge with others.
From Cooking Classes to Private Chef Services
What began as a personal healing journey soon blossomed into a way to help others. I started hosting raw vegan cooking classes in Brooklyn, which led to custom orders for vegan desserts. These classes and orders grew into catering opportunities, and my business was born.
When I moved to the Bay Area, I expanded my offerings to include private cooking classes and weekly meal prep for families. My clients referred me to others, and my business continued to grow.
In 2024, I relocated to Oahu, Hawaii, where I continue to offer personalized meal prep, private chef services, and cooking classes to help people embrace plant-based living and experience the transformative power of food.
