We live in a toxic world. Starting from air pollution to the number of toxic products we consume daily.
What a majority of the population eats daily is the so-called Standard American Diet (S.A.D). This reads as SAD.
- Moreover, it is sad that we are turning away from Mother Nature and the abundance of healing foods that it readily provides.
- Instead, we grab on the go: snacks, chips, microwavable lunches, soda, and other junk foods.
- Even the majority of ‘fresh squeezed juices' in stores are not really organic or freshly made. If the juice is stored in a plastic bottle, has a shelf life greater than 5 days, and has other ingredients except for vegetables and fruits - then it is nowhere close to being called a ‘fresh squeezed juice.'
We also eat too many cooked foods. High temperature destroys all living enzymes, proteins, nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants that are present in raw uncooked foods and juices. This raw vital energy is needed to sustain the body and keep away numerous diseases, mucus, inflammations, etc.
The result of unbalanced eating habits and simply indulging in all types of foods is - over-toxicity. That means that our body is becoming more acidic, and this is why diseases and various bacteria grow easily in a toxic environment.
Over-toxicity is the very core of many diseases and especially so common flu and colds.
As a result of years and decades of not watching over what goes into the body – it becomes like storage for debris, that doesn't eliminate at the same pace, and as a result, the body cannot expel them anymore on its own. So it simply breaks down, signaling you to stop poisoning it, and you get sick.
Fever, excessive mucus, headaches from the mucous pressure, phlegm – you have no choice but to slow down and start taking more vitamins, and usually- your appetite goes down when you are sick. That is how the body tells us that it cannot take in toxic foods anymore. We call it getting sick or getting the flu, or we blame it on some virus where it is really our own inner toxicity and acidic environment.
Another way to create more toxins is to take medications. Pills are just pushing the symptoms down, but they do not cure the root of diseases. Eventually, the same symptoms that you think you escaped once with the help of antibiotics or other medicine will come back later, but this time with more intensity. This is when you need to recognize the way you live, review your eating habits, and your rest time, and make changes to your lifestyle accordingly.
