Feel the texture of the food.
Chew more times than you usually would.
Slow down.
Enjoy the delicious food.
Send gratitude for having beautiful, fresh, and delicious meals.
Each time think of how long the food made the journey onto your plate. How much effort it takes to grow each produce, care for it and harvest it? Then pick it up. Sort and package. Get it delivered to the store. Then sorted again. And then it gets to your table. So many people worked hard in the food chain.
When we eat slowly and with gratitude, with more mindfulness, our health will also improve.
