Benefits of Juicing

Since 2010 I drink fresh, homemade, organic only juice pretty much daily. And at least once a year I do longer 7-to-10-day juice detox.

Juicing is the best way to get the largest quantity of all the nutrients, minerals, and vitamins from all the fresh and nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables. Doubtful you will be able to eat up to 3-4 lbs of veggies or fruits in one day. But you can get all the benefits in just one 24- or -32 oz jar of delicious juice.

Juices can help your gut environment to be more alkaline so that diseases won’t spread. An acidic body is prone to all kinds of illnesses. By focusing on making your body more alkaline, you will avoid migraines, headaches, digestive problems, colds, and flues, prevent many diseases, and reverse chronic imbalances.

A standard diet that is high in acid-forming foods such as sugar, dairy, alcohol, caffeine, wheat, meat, and dairy upsets the body's acid/alkaline balance. The body is always looking for more alkaline minerals to counterbalance an acidic environment, and not finding them it starts to leach minerals, for example, calcium and phosphorous from the bones. Moreover, with time it leads to arthritis, mood swings, osteoporosis, and other kinds of illnesses.
