Autumn Antioxidant Veggies
With the beautiful Fall season and lots of pumpkin lattes, pancakes, bread, and more cooked food, itβs also important to keep more anti-oxidant foods in your diet.
These are main Autumn Antioxidant foods as per @hminutritionschool
A great variety of choices which you can rotate and come up with more recipes how to incorporate these foods into daily routine.
My favorite quick way is to steam some of the greens and cruciferous too.
Steaming helps to preserve nutrients and vitamins, as opposed to roasting, cooking, or frying. At high heat temperatures all living enzymes are destroyed.
Steamed vegetable are also easier to digest.
Steamed broccoli is my number 1 food.
You can then sprinkle it with some Dulse flakes, or Nutritional yeast, or some lemon juice, and add a touch of coconut oil which is good for you. Coconut oil has antimicrobial and antiviral properties (choose only organic and Unrefined. Refined one is heavily processed).
Buy Organic as much as you can.
