Elevate Your Health with Sautéed Spinach and Smart Tips

To build up your iron - add more spinach to your diet.

On a cast iron, sauté spinach with some lemon juice and some coconut oil - virgin, unrefined, cold-pressed (never user refined, as it’s very toxic). Use cast iron only for this for better nutrient absorption.

I learned this tip from my school @hminutritionschool and have been enjoying it since then.

I love to add garlic and also sprinkle with some dulse flakes for promoting thyroid health. Or add some nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor.

Of course, just adding spinach this way doesn’t guarantee your levels will return quickly to normal as many factors are at play. Such as parasites or candida, for example, can prevent iron absorption even when you take the best supplements.

Also good sources of iron are unsulfured raisins, black strap molasses (organic only), and and beet greens.
