Side Salad with Wakame.
Wakame is an amazing seaweed filled with many nutrients, minerals, and vitamins, such as iodine, calcium, iron, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, zinc, magnesium, and vitamins A, C, D, E, K, B2, and B9. It is such a nourishing and healing food.
This simple side salad recipe is so delicious!!!
1/2 avocado, cubed
1 small cucumber
1 tbsp wakame, soaked in min water until softens and expands. Gently squeeze from excess water.
Dressing:
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp tamari sauce
1 tsp maple syrup
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp chili garlic sauce (use more if you like it spicy)
Whisk all in a small bowl or cup, and pour over the salad.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Double in salad and sauce ingredients for a larger serving.
