Turmeric Golden Milk
1,5 cups plant milk (I used unsweetened canned coconut milk)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder or 1 tsp for stronger taste and color
1-star anise
1 cinnamon stick (or 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder)
2 tsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Pinch salt
Bring all to heat, stirring but do not boil. Remove from heat. Let cool off a bit. Strain through a nut milk bag and serve. Can reheat it if you like it really hot.
