Is Kombucha Really That Healthy?
I had a great question asked about fermented foods at the dinner with my friend last night. As it got cold we went to one of our local places here where they serve kimchi ramen. I was addicted to anything fermented especially kimchi ramen when the weather would get chilly.
Now that I have gone through Heal Candida protocol not that long ago I strongly feel that my body rejects kombucha and anything that has yeast in it. This includes all types of vinegar, apple cider vinegar, and kombucha too.
I am still slowly transitioning to just eating clean fruits and sweet vegetables without any added sugars, only green powdered stevia and I continue to feel great.
Being vegan for so many years, I had no idea I had parasites and Candida overgrowth until I found @hminutritionschool
Doing both cleanses is life-changing. And with the Healing Candida protocol, you will eliminate 80% of health issues if not all 100% for some people. This is the most powerful cleanse that works.
See below from the HMI Nutrition School on Kombucha:
“Kombucha may contain beneficial strains of lactic acid bacteria, but it also contains several strains of yeast. Many people cannot tolerate the microorganisms in kombucha and other wild ferments. Particularly people with Candida, SIBO, and IBS.
USE CAUTION BEFORE JUMPING ON THE BANDWAGON
The Internet has been abuzz with the fermenting craze, started initially by the Weston A. Price Foundation (the same group that promotes a deadly cancer-causing duet of high animal fat and high protein).
Unfortunately, the promotion of fermented beverages and foods can be harmful to a large percentage of people. Over 70% of women have Candida overgrowth, which can manifest as chronic ear, nose, and throat infections, yeast infections, rashes, weight gain, painful periods, sugar cravings and so much more.
While fermented foods and beverages like kombucha may contain many beneficial strains of lactic acid bacteria, they also contain several strains of yeast.
The problem is that the kombucha SCOBY contains various strains of yeast. The yeast feeds Candida overgrowth and is also a harmful irritant to people with SIBO and IBS”
